Walls and decorations

To observe means to sharpen your sight and go beyond the mere vision. When I paint
walls, I take particular care of each single step.

Colours do reawaken the deepest emotions in the observers.
When it comes to colours, each individual goes through a very personal and intimate
experience that is normally connected to our background and perception. As a matter of
fact, the choices regarding paintings cannot be completely up to the professional but they
have to be the result of an agreement with the customer.
The paint that I prefer is definitely natural, eco-friendly and sustainable and it is made of
natural clays mixed with slaked lime, casein glue and potassium silicates. An efficient
alternative would be a good water-based paint.

The motives that I normally suggest on panels, furniture and walls are essentially the result
of a deep research through many illustrated sources, ornamental pieces and art trends
that I store in my memory and that I know will be useful sooner or later.
I do not simply reproduce or copy images but I use them as an infinite source of
inspiration. Real photos are the ones taken by the eye and they are all around us in the
wings of a butterfly, the leaves of a bush, the rusty reddish shades of a sunset that we
could never pack into a can of varnish.

My biggest discovery were colouring powders, clays and natural pigments. When mixed
with natural glues such as egg yolk, casein and water, they allow me to get closer to the
poetry of colours and the vast ability of expression that only nature is entitled to offer
completely and authentically.
